To Tele Exist Or Not, That Is The Question: Gladys Mendia, translated by Indran Amirthanayagam

Telexistir o no telexistir
He ahí la cuestión

To tele exist or not
that is the question

Madre Internet
sálvanos de las huellas
borra todo vestigio
danos el descanso del olvido
elimina nuestro Facebook
para siempre

Mother Internet
save us from the footprints
wipe away all vestiges
give us the peace of forgetting
eliminate our Facebook for ever

Vivir en las ondas
esparcida
en la brillante pantalla
del computador

Náufraga del Reino de las Redes aSociales

To live in the waves
spread out
on the brilliant
computer screen

The Kingdom of the Asocial Networks Sinks.

Amo todo lo que va a morir
me fascino en lo precario de mi estadía
en mi paso superfluo por la tierra
en el paraíso artificial de mi memoria USB

I love everything that is going to die
am fascinated by the precarious state
of my superfluous passage on Earth
the artificial paradise of my USB memory stick.
