Nadine Ltaif, of Lebanese origin, moved to Montreal in 1979. She studied literature and cinema. Poet, translator, she has published eight collections of poetry with Editions du Noroît, Her book, Entre les fleuves (2001) was shortlisted for the Émile Nelligan Prize. Three of her collections have been translated into English by Guernica editions, including Journeys (2020), translated by Christine Tipper.She collaborates in the production of independent films with the company Nadja Productions.
