Red Lodge Clay Center, 123 S. Broadway, Red Lodge, MT 59068 (406) 446-3993. Serves 4 long-term residents (of one year) and 2 to 4 short-term residents (ranging from one to eight weeks) at a time in a rural, mountainous setting. Full ceramic facilities. Housing, studio space provided. Long-term residents receive stipend in exchange for working 20 hours a week (teaching, gallery sitting, cleaning, maintenance). Short-term residents pay housing fee.
