Dick Lourie’s latest book, Jam Session and Other Poems, brings together his two jobs, as poet and blues musician. His previous books include, among others, Ghost Radio and If the Delta Was the Sea, and he’s currently at work on a book-length poem about radio. He is a founding and still active editor of Hanging Loose magazine and Hanging Loose Press, which is celebrating, in 2026, its sixtieth anniversary.
