Festival featuring authors who live on, write about, or have some strong connection to Capitol Hill and have published books in the preceding five years. Participating authors include: Louis Bayard, Hayes Davis, Patricia Gray, Jean Nordhaus, Garrett Peck, Richard Rashke, Kim Roberts, Teddy Rycroft, Yermiyahu Ahron Taub. Participating organizations include: Capitol Hill Books, Capitol Hill Writers Group, DC Public Library, East City Bookshop, ShoutMouse Press, Woman’s National Book Assn., Folger Shakespeare Library, Library of Congress. Book fair, family events, discussions from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm; poetry reading at Tunnicliff’s patio (across the street) from 3:00 to 5:00 with featured readers and open mic.
