The 18th Annual Fitzgerald Short Story Contest is open to residents of MD, VA, and DC. Stories of 4,000 words or less should be submitted in “blind” format, with identifying information on a cover sheet only. First prize: $500, invitation to speak briefly a the Fitzgerald Literary Festival, and publication in the 2014 festival program. Two prizes of $100 each awarded to runners-up. $25 entry fee.
