Kensington Celebrates the International Day of the Book with a street festival (rain or shine). Poetry tent includes readings by Federal Poets and from the Kensington Row Reading Series, as well as an open mic. Reading by contributors from the anthology Mothership: Tales from Afrofuturism and Beyond. Irish music, dancing and literature sponsored by The Limerick Pub. Live music from The Nighthawks and Atomic Swing Club. Storytelling, sing-along, and other family events in the Children’s Tent. Food trucks. Free admission.
