Celebrate the 750th anniversary of Dantes birth with a recital of Dantes cantos related to science. Riccardo Pratesi, from the Museo Galileo in Florence, Italy, will recite the cantos in Italian and comment on the scientific context of the selected cantos. Francesco Ciabattoni of Georgetown University will discuss the literary context. An English translation of the cantos will be distributed. Free admission; reservations needed.
