Folger Shakespeare Library
Open to 25 middle and high school teachers from across the US from June 29 to July 26. Participants live at American University, are awarded a stipend of $3,300 to cover travel costs, books, living expenses. The focus will be on Romeo and Juliet and Twelfth Night. Those selected will be summer fellows at the Folger Shakespeare Library, with access to the reading rooms and collections. The Institute offers lectures, small group seminars, sessions with actors and teachers, individual research, lunchtime colloquium. Apply online.
