Moving Words seeks submissions for the annual contest sponsored by Arlington County Cultural Affairs. Juror: Katherine E. Young. 6 winning poems will be printed on colorful placards and displayed prominently inside Arlington Transit buses between April and September 2017, where they will be seen by thousands of riders. Winning poets receive $250 honorarium and are invited to participate in a public reading in April 2017. Poets over age 18 who live in the DC Metro transit area are eligible; submit up to 3 poems of 10 lines or less (including stanza breaks). No fee to enter.
