Two prizes for book manuscripts by Latino poets. The Andres Montoya Poetry Prize is for first books; the winner receives $1,000, publication and a reading at the University of Notre Dame. Judge: Edwin Torres. The Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize is for a second or third book; $1,000, publication, and readings in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and DC. Judge: Rigoberto Gonzalez. No entry fee for either prize. Publication is by the University of Notre Dame Press.
