The George Washington University offers a free community workshop in Spring 2014 in creative nonfiction, led by Molly McCloskey. No academic qualifications or publications needed. The class will include some readings of published work but the main focus will be a roundtable critique of work submitted by class members. Limited to 15. Students at GWU and other consortium schools are not eligible to apply. To apply, snail mail a brief letter of interest and a sample of up to 7 pages of your writing. Include full contact info, including phone and email. No application materials returned. Deadline: Jan. 7. All applicants will be notified by Jan. 18. Class will run on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 from Jan. 22 through April 23.
