The Jenny McKean Moore free community workshop is now taking applications. A workshop in creative nonfiction will be led by Brando Skyhorse on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm from January 21 through April 29. Limited to 15; no academic qualifications or previous publication necessary. Snail mail a brief letter of interest and a writing sample of no more than 7 pages in length. Include name, address, home and work telephone numbers, and email address for notification. Application materials will not be returned. Deadline: Jan. 5; notification of decisions by Jan. 27.
