This series of panels and presentations will focus on salons, workshops and performance collectives.  Hosted by Regie Cabico.  Speakers: Kim Roberts and Michon Boston on Georgia Douglas Johnson; Miller Newman on May Miller; Judith McCombs with Donald Illich and Dorrit Carroll on the Federal Poets; Linda Pastan and Rod Jellema on poetry workshops born during the “Poetry and the National Conscience” conferences; Toni Asante Lightfoot with Brandon D. Johnson, Holly Bass and Twain Dooley on the Modern Urban Griots.  Free admission.
