Located 7 miles from Las Animas and four hours from Denver in the Arkansas Valley of southeast Colorado. Four weeks, room and board with stipend. Writer teaches a small workshop for homeless veterans; work expected to be approximately 10 hours per week. Writer also gives one public lecture and one public reading. (literary arts)
