Gazing Grain Press seeks chapbook manuscripts of poetry, prose, and hybrid texts between 15 and 25 pages. Open to feminists of all genders and sexualities who are not affiliated with the judges, editors, or George Mason University MFA program. Poetry judge: Rachel Eliza Griffiths; prose judge Lily Hoang. Winners published in a series of limited-run, handmade artist books and are invited to read at the Fall for the Book Festival (for poetry) or New Leaves Literary Festival (for prose) in Fairfax, VA. Mss. read “blind.” Winners announced in August. $15 reading fee.
