DCCAH has announced five new grant opportunities, all with deadlines in January. Open to artists and arts organizations in DC. The Arts Stabilization Grant provides one-time general operating support up to #250,000 for arts organizations operating at least 7 years, with a deadline of January 18. The Sister Cities International Arts Grant covers travel expenses up to $20,000 for an art exchange between one of DC’s 12 sister cities, with letters of intent due January 3. The Special Project Funding Opportunity provides up to $100,000 for an innovative city-wide arts project, with letters of intent due January 9. The Arts and Healing Grant provides up to $10,000 for projects that provide access and improve the well being of target participants, with a deadline of January 17. Funding is also available for a second round of Community Arts Grants, up to $10,000 for small-scape projects, with a deadline of January 17.
